On the back of your CalcCases package, there are instructions on how to use your CalcCases features and functions. It also provides you with cautions for use with Children and proper use of the lithium battery inside the case. If you have lost the original packaging, we have provided the same instructions below.
To turn on your CalcCase Calculator, slide the ON/OFF button at the bottom right to ON. The Calculator should turn on at that point. It will stay on until it detects no activity for 4 minutes and then it will turn itself off again automatically. You can turn it back on again by pressing the CE button. If you’re finished with the calculator function and want to place your case in your pocket or purse, you should slide the ON/OFF button back to OFF so that you don’t accidently press the CE button while it is in storage and drain the battery.
Easily split your restaurant bill with your friends
1. The user presses the “Bill” button to start the split bill calculation. After pressing ‘Bill’ a flashing 0 appears on the screen with the word ‘Bill’. The user puts in the total bill amount (e.g. 146.50) The word ‘Bill’ shows on the screen along with 146.50.
2. The user presses the ‘Tip’ button. After pressing ‘Tip’ a flashing 0 appears on the screen with the word ‘Tip%’. The user puts in the Tip percentage (e.g. 15). The word ‘Tip%’ stays on the screen along with the number 15.
3. The user presses the ‘Ppl’ button. After pressing ‘Ppl’ a flashing 0 appears on the screen with the word ‘Ppl’. The user puts in the number of people at the table splitting the bill, (e.g. 6). The word ‘Ppl’ stays on the screen along with the number 6.
4. The user presses ‘=’ . The screen displays the word “Per person” and the calculation of 28.08.
Numbers will be rounded up to two decimal places.
Recall Previous Entries
When adding up a long list of numbers, it is easy to forget if you entered a number or not. Not to worry, the CalcCase Calculator will allow you to go back and check your last 10 entries. To do that, press the triangle “Prev” button to show your last entry. Press it twice to show the entry before last, etc. You can show up to the last 10 entries. Press the “Next” button to go forward to where you left off.
